May Meeting: (4th Monday)
Date: Monday, May 24, 2010
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Keyboard Concepts (714) 544-0088
2866 El Camino Real
Tustin, CA 92782-8902

Our April meeting started with a report that we are managing finances well as we move into the new year. The Nominating Committee reported that we have candidates for President and Vice President and requested that members turn out for the May meeting to insure solid election results. We were introduced to a guest, Lee Sankey, who recently relocated to Southern California after growing up as a second generation tuner in Texas. Lee shared his experiences as a tuner and son of a tuner. Welcome, Lee.

We were treated to an exceptional presentation by Phil Bashaw, RPT on how to hone business practices: gaining new clients, keeping those clients, maintaining a schedule and working that schedule and client contact to keep your days full and profitable. Thank you, Phil. Nearly 40 years of experience in piano work after a successful career in pharmaceutical sales - what further expertise could we have wished for?

All of the above proceedings were made merry by the, not to be taken for granted, dinner offered by our hosts at Keyboard Concepts: chili, beverages and fresh corn bread. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

In May we're back at the same location for a presentation by Carl Lieberman covering his expertise in the use of the Cybertuner. Come - learn - participate.
