LOS ANGELES CHAPTER

No meeting in April

Del Fandrich's new designs for Young Chang and Weber pianos have significantly improved their small grand pianos. At our March meeting, he discussed many of the changes he has implemented, from bridge placement to the floating soundboard and the new scale design. We had an engaged audience, and we really appreciated Del Fandrich and Larry Fresh, President and COO of Young Chang, for this excellent program. Thank you to Glenn and Cheryl Treibitz for their hospitality and for providing us with lovely refreshments. Their store is just a year old in the new location in Burbank, and we wish them the best of luck.

Moving forward to a special early Summer event, mark your calendars for Saturday, June 28 at 1:30 pm. Through a special arrangement we have set up a tour of The Nethercutt Museum in Sylmar. This is going to be a lot of fun. This is an open event for all members of all Southern California chapters. Information on the tour and how to make reservations, which will be required, will be in next month's Newsletter.
