Our thanks to Ed Tomlinson for making the trek down from Bakersfield to visit us for this meeting. His presentation was full of great ideas on how we approach our relationships with customers and build confidence in selling our services, all of which means happier customers and more income for us.

Thanks, also, to Isaac Sadigursky for his audience warm-up routine and short technical on an easier way to repair broken pedal rods.

And special thanks to Adam Chester, Manager of Keyboard Concepts in Sherman Oaks, for staying late and keeping the doors open for us.

In November we are meeting at the new Hollywood Piano location on Front St. in Burbank. Our guest speaker will be David Anderson. Come join us as David presents a version of the class he's doing at WESTPAC this spring entitled, "How To Make a Piano Sing, presented by Mason & Hamlin." In it, David will highlight some of the features that make the M&H piano both different than, and similar to its hand-made Tier One companions, and will get into the preparation of instruments to maximize their efficiency and power: how to make a piano "sing" through intuitive, "sweet spot" regulation, tuning, and voicing. The class will be interactive, and there's always room for questions.
