ORANGE COUNTY CHAPTER

No Meeting in December - Merry Christmas!

Greetings to all So Cal piano technicians and readers of the PTG Southern California Newsletter.

We normally do not meet in November because our meeting lands on the same week as Thanksgiving. This year the calendar cooperated, and we had an unusual fall event. Paul Rea was nice enough to drive all the way from Hemet for his "Everything Upright" program. Paul gave an excellent class full of helpful tips on "Express Regulation." We had an overhead slide show with great pictures, many helpful tips, and a hand out that will help in consistent precise results. Paul has taught many classes at Regional and National Conventions, and it was a treat to get him to do one of our monthly meetings. Thanks go out to Paul for all of his efforts and information.

We had great attendance for the holiday season. We welcome our newest member, Bryan Goodhead. He seems very enthusiastic and ready to learn. Long standing member Gus Grijalva has been bringing his grandson, Manuel, to the last couple of meetings. It's nice to have some fresh faces attending a great and informative meeting. Our star VP Melissa is the rain maker bringing in the big crowds. We have been having some great meetings this year and if you missed ‘em, you've been missing out on some good stuff.

Special thanks to our own Sheila King who gave a five minute technical on invoicing; and of course, thanks to Fields Piano for hosting.

Kawai America is hosting South Bay’s big December holiday bash, to which we are all invited. See the South Bay Chapter's section for information Hope to see you there!

On behalf of the Orange County Officers we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
