Greetings to all Southern California piano technicians and readers of the PTG Southern California Newsletter.
We did not meet in April due to WestPac.
We will be at Keyboard Concepts next month, on Monday, May 28. Dinner is at
6:30 and the meeting starts at 7:00. Blaine Hebert, RPT, will be presenting a
preview of a class he is teaching at this summer's technical institute. About
the class, “The Dangers We Face:” Piano work exposes us to many biological and
chemical hazards which, according to public health recommendations, should be
avoided at all costs. Figuring out which of these are actually deadly and which
are "CYA" can be tough. Together we will sort out some of the issues.
The Orange County Board would like to ask all of our members to consider holding a chapter office in the coming year. With new changes in our organization, all members are now allowed to hold office. We will be accepting nominations and urge all to attend the May meeting for elections.
