The August backyard dinner and chat at David Vanderlip & Kathy Smith's home was grand. Good weather and a beautiful outdoor location lent themselves to good conversation, reminiscences, talk of what we do, and how and why we do it. Newcomers, old-timers and interested guests yammered until the Disneyland fireworks said it was time to be on our way. Our sincere thanks go to the "Vandersmiths" for their hospitality.
Our September meeting will feature a presentation by Bill Shull, RPT, entitled, "Hot-Rodding Your Client's Vertical," granting us techniques to give our upright piano clients the fullest musical experience that their instruments can grant.

Auction preview information: It's September, and that means it's time to start looking through the workshop, garage, or shed to see what you have too much of, so you can bring it to our annual auction. October is auction month in Orange County and no one wants to miss out. Participate as a seller and a buyer to make the best of this special annual event. Mark your calendar and we'll see you on Saturday, October 20th. Sellers come at 1:00 to set up and the bidding will begin at 2:00. The location is again Episcopal Church of the Messiah, 614 N.
