Our September program was a presentation by Bill Shull, RPT, entitled, "Hot-Rodding Your Client's Vertical." This was a thorough look at the challenges to ease playing in instruments that, for the sake of saving on production costs, have in some ways been compromised in their ability to play. Bill has work arounds that can help with keyboards with shorter keys and high angles that can inhibit ease of play. Ths was a good presentation on how to address an old upright, especially one with shorter cabinet. Thank you, Bill.
Our Annual Tool Auction is Saturday, October 20. Rumor has it there will be some techs there selling a bunch of stuff. We have been holding it in the basement of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah for four years now. Technicians from across the southland convene for a wild time and some good deals, too. So come on down to this convenient location in downtown Santa Ana near the Orange Crush where the 5, 57, and 22 meet. See details on Page 5.
