At last month's business meeting, the "all members in good standing " etc. (as defined by the PTG) was discussed as it pertains to the election of chapter officers and will be voted on at this month’s meeting. We agreed to accept the LA Chapter's invitation to join them on January 28, 2019 at the Colburn School for a program to be presented by Steingraber. Our sponsoring of an April seminar is in the works.
Randy Morton was our program presenter in September, and he started by showing a short film of the Imadegawa hammer factory's process of hammer manufacturing which was made for Japanese TV. Randy followed this with a demonstration of his technique of needling and filing these new hammers for achieving more uniform tone.
"What's the Future of Your Business? The Numbers Will Tell You" is the title of our program this month, a demonstration of how the pulse of a business can be taken with just a few numerical facts - a checkbook register and some data points. Sheila King of our sister Orange County Chapter is the guest presenter. Her history and experience in accounting along with some handy tips should make this a valuable presentation!
