This month’s
meeting will feature a presentation by Michael Cahn entitled, "First Time
Service- Setting Yourself, and the Piano, Up for Success." We will touch on all
the things that are prudent to do at the first meeting of a new client and
piano. Areas of discussion will be broken down into five avenues:
Cleaning-
inside & out
Pitch Raise- caveats & guidelines
Hippocratic Oath- do no
harm
Includable Repairs- add value
Client Relations- tie it all together
This meeting will be beneficial for all, touching upon virtually every tenet we
have as piano technicians.
Nominations for offices will be entertained
and a vote on the Boston Chapter RFA will again be entertained (we voted to
approve 5-0 last month but were short of a quorum). Show up, be counted, learn
some great stuff and make some money!!
