No Meeting in July
While enjoying the nonpareil hospitality of Franco Skilan at Precision Piano in North Hollywood we observed and took part in various demonstrations of how various repairs are effected on the RPT technical exam. Excellent demonstrations of wire installation and splicing, upright hammer shank removal and key bushing repair were very edificating.
Thank you, Franco, for hosting this meeting on such short notice. Your reliability and generosity are greatly appreciated.
In July we will not have a meeting as there will be a national convention in neighboring Arizona. This is a great opportunity to see and hear some of the best technical presentations of piano technology ever. Hope to see you there.
