The LA Chapter met at Franco Skilan's Precision Piano Services. We had a lovely Italian dinner and a huge cake to celebrate our 5 new RPTs -

Recent graduates of the North Bennett Street trade school gave us a rundown on their time spent at the school. This was very informative and helped one to see some of what is involved in a well laid out approach to teaching piano technology to a technician who may have little or no experience with the subject. Scott Reitz and Eric Rautenberg gave a beautiful powerpoint presentation and Cary Winsor, Yoshi May and Adrian Carcione also helped encourage members to attain the Registered Piano Technician status.
In October, Isaac Sadigursky will present at the Keyboard Concepts store. At print time, we had so many choices of classes, it was hard to pick one. You'll just have to show up and find out what good stuff is in store for you.
