At our last meeting we were fortunate enough to have one of our own who is also a number cruncher and CPA, Sheila King, give us the lowdown on new and existing tax laws, loopholes and strategies in advance of preparing our returns in the spring. I found this very interesting which is highly unusual as I eschew anything having to do with math. It was quite a lively discussion with plenty of input from the group and many questions were answered. She also gave us an excellent handout which I gave to my wife who prepares my tax return.

Our next meeting will be a holiday party at the shop of Franco and Johanna Skilan, Precision Piano in North Hollywood. Arrive at 6:00 and bring a side dish or dessert or drinks. Bring your instruments, too. There will be music and joyful camaraderie.
