The San Diego County Chapter will hold a "Spring Business Meeting" on
Wednesday, March 18 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the new Steinway Piano Gallery
San Diego on Miramar Rd.
The agenda items include assigning a chapter
delegate to the 2020 PTG National Convention and discussing the chapter's plan
for an upcoming "All Day Seminar" with Yamaha.
There will be the usual housekeeping duties of approving previous meeting minutes, chapter leadership and elections, as well as continued discussion on the subject of preparing members for the RPT exams. In regard to exam preparation, many thanks to Ralph Miyashiro RPT for an excellent clinic on aural tuning in February. Thanks again to all of the San Diego and Orange County chapter members who attended. Much appreciation to Greene Music for allowing our chapter to use their facility and stage piano for our clinic.
Finally, the old 16mm film, The Music of Sound, that was discovered in the previous San Diego Chapter's locker is currently under the process of being digitally copied. We are hopeful that it'll be ready for a showing at the meeting.
