Greetings South Bay members!
This month we have the beginning of a series of exciting meetings to fill out the year, ending of course with a Winterfest of some iteration.
First we will spend a few minutes remembering our mega cool and mega knowledgeable friend, David Anderson, who passed away earlier this season. This month we have some chapter business to conduct - nominations for chapter officers.
Carl Lieberman is our nominating committee. He will collect nominations for chapter President, Vice President, Secretary/Newsletter Writer, and Treasurer. Next month, he will present the nominees and we will vote on the slate of officers. Luckily we already know our reliable chapter Treasurer, Kenny Walden is willing to remain as our Treasurer. Thank you, Kenny.
Also this month we will have a bit of a recap of what happened at the annual convention After that we will be starting our new South Bay Chapter meeting feature series, "Collabolesson," where a member (we will make sure everyone gets a turn) talks for 5 minutes about some favorite part of piano work that they feel is very important and that they have a good handle on.
Our first collaboteacher will be Ryan Ellison.
