Hello South Bay Chapter!
Last month we had zoom address adventures but ended up having a nice visit with quite a few technicians.
This month we have a special date for our meeting. Monday, October 18 at 5:30 pm we will be joining other Southern California chapters in hosting Sally Phillips. After the program, we will stay online and have a short chapter meeting and the all important election of chapter officers.

Over the past 40 years, piano technician Sally Phillips has worked in virtually every aspect of the piano industry: service, retail, wholesale, and manufacturing. In her role as a concert piano technician she has tuned and prepared pianos for concert and recording work in such venues as Town Hall in New York City, Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center, and for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra, and the Vienna Philharmonic. She is a 1976 graduate of the North Bennet Street School's piano technology program and is a frequently requested guest lecturer at the school. At our Zoom meeting on Monday, October 18th she will cover some of her best concert prep techniques.
