SAN DIEGO COUNTY CHAPTER

No Meeting in July

Last month the San Diego chapter had a meeting focused on calculating your hourly rate. Brian Janey led the discussion (which was based on a PTG convention lecture by Vivian Brooks dating back to the the 90's) on how to make sure your expenses and the amount of time that you spend on a piano bench line up to ensure that you are running a profitable business. Thank you Brian for the excellent information and to those that attended.

Given that our June meeting was late in the month and that the national convention is right around the corner we'll skip having a San Diego chapter meeting in July.

All of our members are encouraged to attend the nation al convention in Anaheim and take note that our chapter (PTG chapter #920) is planning on having a "SD920" hospitality room, the details of which will be passed out at the convention.

Looking ahead to future chapter technical meetings note that we have a "damper timing" half-day in person technical class in the works (details to be determined).
