Hello everyone,
Hopefully everyone is enjoying their summer. The OC
Chapter did not meet in July. Next week is the Annual convention. This year it
is in our area and we are the host chapter. In addition to great classes to
attend there are a few extra things our chapter is assisting with during for the
convention.
The OC chapter will be having a host table at the hotel, and
we are in need of member volunteers to staff it. Please ask your chapter
officers for more information and to sign up for any available times that you
might be able to help (Nearly all will be outside of class hours). A link to a
Google Doc sign up sheet is also in the newsletter distributed by email. For
those members not paying to attend classes, this can be a good opportunity to
still be onsite and see friends from all over. Feel free to sign up for as
many or as few time slots as you are able to. Thanks in advance for your
help with this. Members from other SoCal chapters are welcome to sign up
for this as well, if interested.
Our next chapter gathering will be on
Saturday, August 27 at 12:30pm for our annual potluck at the home of Melissa
Weidner. As before, please bring your own lunch, you will be able to use
the BBQ grill if necessary. As usual, members from other chapters are more
than welcome to attend. For anyone who has trouble getting there or any

email for more information.
