In November the Los Angeles Chapter enjoyed a roundtable discussion with Richard Davenport, RPT and company. An interesting departure from a typical technical presentation format, the evening's focus centered on what we as technicians and individuals fear. It was a refreshing experience and an opportunity to connect with our community in a candid setting. By the end of the night we realized that fear is something that can be overcome through the presence of dialogue. Richard was joined by Alan Eder, RPT and Robert Cope; and he led us through a night full of great storytelling and personal history.
This year marks the return of our holiday party, hosted again by Franco
Skilan, RPT at Precision Piano. We would like to invite members from across all
Southern California chapters to come celebrate with us. Brave that SoCal traffic
and come share tales of the year and a cup of cheer with old piano friends. It
will be wonderful to be back together in person after these past couple years.
It's a holiday potluck, so feel free to bring a plate of warm unison cookies, or
tasty stretched octaves taffy. Bar and beverages hosted by LA chapter.
