In December we had an epic holiday party that brought jazz pianist Sam Hirsch to play on a very fine 9' Shigeru Kawai prepared expertly by Don Mannino. The sounds that that were created impressed us all - a very deep piano experience and a very fine piano. Magical. Thank you Kawai for hosting the party this year and allowing us to enjoy great times.
For January we are ecstatic to have a class from David Reed entitled "Working on Acoustic Pianos with Digital Parts." More and more these days we are seeing pianos that are hybrids and have digital capabilities. David will bring us up to speed on the things you need to know when servicing this type of instrument.
We will meet at Kawai on January 10 at 6:30 for a business meeting, presentation and pie. Happy New Year’s everyone - let's press on with fervent endeavor!
