No Meeting in April
In March we were given an excellent presentation on aural temperament and tuning by our new chapter secretary, Ryan Ellison, RPT. "The Roadmap" is a 3-step circular temperament pattern as taught in piano manufacturer's factory training. The class was extremely well received and even made a few converts! Ryan was able to show the beauty of tuning by ear as well as the process by which to attain it . This class went a long way in terms of the preservation of our craft. It is of great relevance, as we are some of the last shepherds of this long heralded skill.
