Los Angeles Chapter
In May the LA Chapter had a tour of the new shop of Ulises Rocha. In his beautiful new shop space Ulises explained all aspects of his repair and refinishing work, showing us amazing examples of abused piano cases, resurrected to new. Additionally Ulises treated us to a feast of steak and carnitas tacos, and his own home-made ceviche. An excellent night. Thank you, Ulises.
This month we will have a meeting sharing amongst ourselves tool bag essentials, favorites, and tips on how to be best equipped as we approach each job. We will also take a few minutes to discuss the PTG RFAs (Requests For Action) situation which is currently being debated by guild members leading up to July's convention.
