Our August meeting was an informal summer party held at David and Kathy's newly renovated compound. A huge crowd turned out for excellent food and wonderful company. It was fun seeing many old friends and meeting a few new ones. David and Kathy's house has an amazing backyard that is perfect for entertaining. People from all over So Cal showed up. Anyone who missed it shouda been there. Thank you, David and Kathy, for hosting a wonderful summer event.
This month we have Ed Whitting doing a damper class he has titled, "All I can tell you about dampers in 40 to 60 minutes." The class will include anything from basic adjustments to replacing damper guide rail bushing, even tightening damper lever weights. Ed will cover everything you need to know and more, I'm sure.
Hope to see you at Faust Harrison Pianos, a very central location for Orange County members. In July, our first live meeting in a few years, we had a great turn out. Let’s all come out to see Ed and maybe learn something new.
