Last month we had our monthly meeting at a new location - Faust Harrison Pianos located in Irvine. Faust Harrison was gracious in offering their store and pianos for our meeting. Thank you Zed and Faust Harrison for being special hosts.
Ed Whitting gave an interesting and informative presentation about dampers, covering both grands and uprights. Ed has a lifetime of experience and showed us some very helpful tips. We had an extemely good turn out, including some guests. Thank you, Ed, for sharing your talent and knowledge with us.
Announcing Orange County Annual Tool Auction Saturday, October 21
We lost our old location in Santa Ana and have been forced to move our annual
event. David and Kathy, the "VanderSmith's," have graciously offered their
fabulous backyard for this year's event.
Their home is close to Harbor Blvd.
and W. Lincoln Ave. in Anaheim. If you have tools to sell please pull into the
alley behind the house where a gate leads to the backyard. It will be easier to
unload.
Sellers please arrive by 1:00 pm as the Tool Auction will start at 2:00 pm. There is plenty of street parking but you may have to walk a bit. The party David and Kathy hosted in August was a smashing success. Let's hope this month will be even better. There will be some snacks, chips, popcorn, soda and coffee. If you want to bring a dessert I'm sure we would all gladly eat it !!!! Potluck dessert after a grueling day of bidding wars sounds good to me.
