No December Meeting
Season Greetings from the Orange County Chapter.
In November we had our first Zoom meeting in a while. It seemed to work well as David Vanderlip was able to demonstrate tool sharpening in his shop. David used a couple of old beat up chisels provided by Randy Woltz, our VP, to work his magic.
David demonstrated a few methods of tool sharpening by Taylor Tool Works. He told us about an amazing method using Taylor Tool Works’ drill press sharpening tool. Although he didn't demonstrate in person, he showed the jigs and explained how the tool works. There are plenty of good YouTube videos available to demonstrate how it works. David did use another product by Taylor using glass plates with disks of various grits of sandpaper.
Another product by Worksharp featured a bench top woodworking tool sharpener. There are some good videos on YouTube, and this product is also available on Amazon (surprise!!).
