Thank you to all of our members who came out to our end-of-year get together in December. Franco and his wife were wonderful hosts, as always, and we enjoyed a delicious potluck meal together with more food and desserts than we could have ever managed in an evening. Thanks to all who contributed. Also, a thank you to Kayoko for the parting gifts of jams and jellies! It was a great time catching up with one another, getting to see some of Franco's finished pianos as well as pianos in progress, and hearing chapter members take turns at the several keyboards to treat their fellow techs to a few standards and holiday classics, whether they wanted to hear them or not.
In January we are partenering with the South Bay Chapter to kick off the year with a joint meeting. Kathy Smith will be presenting and we look forward to learning from her well of expertise on “All About Jacks, Reps and Springs” as we gather forces with our neighbor chapter and embark on 2024. Come at 6:30 for pizza provided by our chapter, and plan to enjoy a slice of pie after the program, courtesy of the South Bay Chapter.
