Greetings San Diego Chapter members,
Our meeting this month will be on Saturday, March 16th. We will be meeting in Brian Janey's shop in Fallbrook for an all day class called "The Anatomy of the Console". We will pull apart the action (every screw), cut the strings out of it, yank the plate and break it down to its very back posts with free parts to all participants that might like some. It will be a great opportunity to hear (and pass on) tips on how to service similar pianos.
Bring your tools and, for those skilled at pulling plates, bring the gear for that too! Specifically, if you have a Sawzall, bring it to help when it comes to slicing up the back posts after the piano is completely disassembled.

We'll get started at 9:00 am with the usual feasting at lunch and, if there is time and interest, a trip to the winery across the street to hang in the afternoon.
