April Meeting:

In February, we had to postpone the meeting due to schedule conflicts and
illness. So for March we met at Piano Empire in Buena Park. Randy Woltz did a
program starting with a few slides from his trip to the New Zealand APTTA
conference in Christchurch. By special request, he did his program on
"Understanding The Drop Action Spinet" which he will be doing for the upcoming
national in Washington DC. Besides explaining how the different makes of spinet
have different ways of removing the action, he also discussed customer relations
- how to sell an expensive job and what pitfalls to look out for. At the meeting
we were graced by the presence of Lisa Weller, WRVP, and National President,
David Stoneman. Piano Empire is a beautiful store with a large back room for
piano restoration.
We will not meet in April but have an interesting
program for May. Stay tuned for more information.
