We did not meet in July due to the convention which was fantastic! So many classes to choose from. A reunion of friends and meeting new people. I taught one class on dampers and one on spinets. At the end of the spinet class everyone watched as we (including Lisa Weller) removed the action and put it back again. There were a number of new techs in the room so it was great experience for them.
Our big annual event in is August and all chapters are invited. Here is Kathy Smith's message:
“The PTG social event for August, a combined chapter meeting for several chapters, will be at David and Kathy's place (AKA the VanderSmith's) on Sunday August 23rd from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. The taco truck guy is set to serve from 5 until 6:30 pm. It's pretty much an open house situation, so people are welcome to stay until around 9:00 or 9:30, if they want to watch the Disneyland fireworks.
If people feel like bringing something along, drinks for the coolers are welcome as well as any type of dessert. (The taco truck provides sides like salad, rice, beans, guacamole and chips, and fruit - so any sides wouldn't really be needed.)
Our address is 724 N. Citron Street in Anaheim, 92805. People can look for the front yard with the dry river bed running through it. We will probably put out a few balloons to make the place easy to spot, and a side gate will be open to the back yard.”
